Prepare for a Pokemon experience unlike anything you've encountered before. Pokerogue and Pokerogue Dex is a chaotic, hilarious, and often frustrating adventure where anything can happen.
Your Starter is a Surprise (and Probably Useless).
Forget choosing your favorite starter. In PokeRogue, you're at the mercy of the RNG gods. You might get a powerful dragon, or you might get a Magikarp. Good luck.
Evolutions Are a Gamble.
Think you're going to evolve that cute little Pokemon into a powerful beast? Think again. In PokeRogue, evolutions are randomized. Your Charmander might evolve into a Charmeleon...or it might evolve into a Weedle.
Every Boss is a Potential Wipe.
You've carefully built your team, optimized your movesets, and prepared for the Elite Four. Then you face a boss that has a team of six legendary Pokemon, all with perfect IVs and EV trained. Good game.
Items Are Your Best Friends (and Your Worst Enemies).
A well-timed item can turn the tide of battle. But a poorly used item can be a disaster. Accidentally use a Full Restore on the opponent's Pokemon? Oops.
The End is Never Guaranteed.
Even if you make it all the way to the final boss, there's no guarantee you'll win. A single critical hit, a bad status effect, or a missed move can spell doom.
