Fort VI is 20 min from Berchem Station with bus 21 and also 20 min from Centraal Station with bus 17 (get off at 'universiteitsplein' & follow the pijlkes)
There is a large carpark inside the fort, entrance is via the 'Edegemsesteenweg' (other side of the fort).
