Le cerveau / Race with precision to make a difference in speedstars

One of the interesting aspects of speedstars is the feeling that players don't simply need to run as fast as possible. Effective speed also depends on how well the player maintains their rhythm throughout the race. If they focus too much on accelerating in every moment, they can create an unstable sequence of actions and reduce overall performance. Conversely, a steady rhythm can help the character maintain momentum better. This is what makes the game feel more like a sport than a simple reflex test. Players must find a rhythm that suits their control and reaction ability. Initially, finding this rhythm can be quite difficult because players don't know the optimal time to perform each action. But after many attempts, they begin to recognize familiar cues. A sequence of movements can become natural once the player has memorized the rhythm. At that point, the hands no longer act purely on thought but begin to react almost automatically. This feeling is very similar to practicing a real-life sport, where initial movements require a lot of concentration but become reflexes over time. Speedstars creates a sense of progress through this very process. Players don't necessarily gain new strength after each practice session, but their performance becomes increasingly consistent. A race once filled with clumsy maneuvers gradually becomes a seamless sequence of movements. Small mistakes are reduced, and average speed improves. The search for the right running rhythm gives the game more depth. Players don't just ask themselves how fast they can run, but also whether they can maintain that speed consistently throughout the entire race.
