Projet solo de Bj Warshaw (bassiste chanteur de Parts and Labor), Shooting Spires est un one man band qui mixe avec beaucoup d'efficacité des influences hétéroclites. Convoquant la liberté d'esprit des Boredoms, les claviers psychés à la Silver Apples et des harmonies vocales pas très loin de Brian Wilson, BJ développe des climats pop nouveaux.
