avec un peu de retard....
Paul Alexander and Mark Rushbury have an
obsession with sound, synthesis, and perpetual knob-tweaking. Thanks to this
obsession, Pandacetamols prolific musical output ranges in style from twisted
ambience to dark subtly funky electronica through to psychedelic acid with a
cheeky splash of dub thrown in for good measure.
Under the moniker Pollen, Paul and Mark had a release on a Glasgow-based
ambient net label, Flower Sound Records and also played a few gigs in Glasgow
Universitys Research Club Dialogue night and also opened for the debut night of
the Hive Collective in Liverpool (a dedicated monthly electronica event).
Pollen died when they discovered a US indie band had the same name
In 2006 the name Pandacetamol was born, and a track entitled Suzettes Party
featured on The Golden Hour Book and CD released through Edinburghs Forest
Caf in August 2007.
Pandacetamol have also recently had a mini-album released on the
propulsion285 label run by Dr Walker of Air Liquide. Tabulations is a seven track
squealchy journey through the realms of early ninties acid with another 5 track EP
due out soon... Oh yes.
Paul and Mark are extremely proud to become a couple of Earth Monkeys and
look forward to releasing as many albums as they are able! Hurrah!
Heavy Concentration will entice you in with warm analogue sounds, loose
funky beats and an overall dreamy quality
