The Cannibal Flower Art Gallery and Performance Space is a once-a-month, portable venue for the arts that showcases art, music, dance, film, projections, magic and fashion shows. It started in 2000 as a means for a group of friends to showcase their art and music without having to deal with the politics of the conventional gallery. Due to the vast success of the first few openings and the continued strength of the following shows, a strong following has grown, bringing in more artists and performers, varying from established artists to art students to outsiders. Cannibal Flower gives us each the opportunity to show work without the hassles of sending slides, pitching, etc.
